Team

Our Owner and Principal, Frances Cope knew from her mid-teens that she would be an event planner, though it was weddings that featured most prominently in her dreams. In the 20 years since, she has built a portfolio ranging from a 10-day choir tour of the UK, to multi-day conferences, to small, intimate parties at home (and yes, a few weddings). She focuses on identifying her client’s goals and finding the best way to fulfill them. There’s nothing more exciting to Frances than a client with a big vision who needs help bringing it to life!

Frances grew up in Rock Hill, SC and after stints in Dallas, TX, and London, UK, she moved back home. Rediscovering her hometown, with its old and new gems, has been a joy. When the opportunity arose to start Roundtable Events, she jumped at the chance to fulfill a long-time dream of working with her sister, Julia.

Our Financial Officer, Julia Brink’s entrepreneurial spirit showed up early in life. From babysitting to a baking business, to creating bespoke curtains and bedding, she always had a knack for identifying and fulfilling market needs. Her gifts in vision casting, problem-solving, project management, and strategic planning bring balance to our team. Having been raised by an entrepreneur, she has long held the dream of building a business to profitability and using that to invest in her local community.

Julia lives in Rock Hill, SC with her husband, Garret, and four (adorable) children, Ian, Addie, Jude, and Jack. When Frances moved back to town, the timing seemed right for that oft-talked-about vision of working together.
